This project starts with a question: What is home?
To collect written responses to this question, tiny wooden houses are placed throughout New Orleans, LA. These houses are marked with the words “What is home,” and the responses can be anonymous or named. The respondents can also choose to have more involvement with the project by submitting larger expressive works. I will also document larger works on this blog.
I hope to hear from all demographics–young, old, transient, tourist, long term resident, and those from all financial strata. I believe this question and all of its answers matter. They bring up issues. They bring up joy. They are boring and beautiful.
